Saratoga Springs, NY-Patricia T. Cramer, 86, of Saratoga Springs, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, January 18, 2012 at Saratoga Hospital. Born May 24, 1925 in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Grace (Hogan) Hannigan. Pat graduated from Heatly High School in Green Island and attended the Troy Business College where she received an associate's degree.
Pat worked at The Record newspaper in Troy for many years in the Circulation Department. She had lived most of her life in Green Island before moving to Saratoga Springs fifteen years ago. Pat was a member of the former St. Joseph's Church in Green Island and enjoyed crafts, crocheting, taking trips with her husband to Lake George. Pat loved spending time with her grandchildren who meant so much to her.
Pat was married on July 21, 1946 to Charles F. Cramer who passed away July 19, 2001.
She is survived by her children, Charles Cramer and his wife Linda of Greenville, SC, Michael Cramer and his wife Susan of Ballston Spa and Patricia Burgess of Watervliet. Pat is also survived by her five grandchildren, Michael Cramer and his wife Kimberly, Joseph Cramer and his girlfriend Melissa, Daniel Cramer and his wife Jessica, James Crary and Melissa Rainey and her husband Nathan as well as ten great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 6-8 pm at the Marra Funeral Home, corner of Remsen and Columbia Sts., Cohoes.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet Shaker Road, Latham with Rev. Geoffrey Burke officiating.
Interment will take place at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
Those who wish to remember Pat in a special way may make memorial donations in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, Pine West Plaza, Suite 204, Washington Ave. Ext., Albany, NY 12205.
